Madison - Summer Fun

Madison had a fun filled summer.  She is not a camper yet (unless it is with her grandparents).  She says she plans on going to camp next summer!  We had a fun filled summer!  Here are some pictures!

Madison went with sweet Ava Grace to the American Girl store and was a sweet friend since Ava had never been.  They shopped and ate at the store!  Fun fun!

Madison ended the summer with a sprained wrist!  She has a brace for a couple of weeks!  I guess she had too much adventures this summer!  Now she is ready for 6th grade!!

My Summer Fun!

I love spending time with my family #1.  My second love and hobby is refinishing furniture.  It's a great stress reliever and also I love to see the finished product.  It is so satisfying to finish a piece and love what it looks like!  I worked on pieces for Madison's room and then I work with a friend of mine and refinished a lot of furniture for her!  Lots of fun!

Horizons

Grant attended Horizons for the third year!  I love that he always wants to go!  They have such a wonderful program helping our boys become the young men that God wants them to be!  Grant has really been leaning into pursuing Youth Ministry and Horizons and Jerry Elder have been the ones that have really impacted him the most!  Here are a few fun pictures from Horizons!

Nashville Sounds Game!

We went to a Nashville sounds game with our church and had a great time!  It was the first time we had been at the new field.  It was a great facility!  It was a very hot day but a great day with friends and family!

2016 Year in Review

This year Madison was in 5th grade and Grant was in 8th grade.  

We celebrated Eric's birthday in January. He turned 46!

Eric and Grant got to go on a duck hunt in West Tennessee for the very first time and they both had a blast!

They also went rabbit hunting too!

He was still playing football and got to move to varsity and dress out withy them and got to play a couple of times and he loved it!

Madison is my dancer!  She loves dancing!  

Madison also graduated from the 5th grade DARE program at school.

Grant Celebrated his 13th birthday in May!  We had to do the football cake since that is what he loves!  

We started off the summer with going to the beach!  We took our camper and stayed at a campsite in Foley, Alabama and it was great!

My two favorite guys in the world! Love them! 😘. We decided to take a dolphin cruise which was awesome!!  We all had a great time.

We've had a great summer so far and can't believe we will be going back to school in a month!!

Grant will be a freshman and Madison will be a 6th grader in the fall at CA.  They are growing up too fast!  This will be my 19th year teaching at CA!
