May Continued, Grant's 6th Grade Graduation!
Grant graduated from 6th Grade!!! I can't believe he will be in 7th grade next year! Our middle school starts in 7th grade, so he will be a middle school-er!!
Months of April and May!
We've had a lot happen in April and May! We've had Lads to Leaders in April and Taekwando belt testing, birthdays, graduation, recital, and end of school in May! I will share all here!
I will start first with Lads to Leaders. Grant and Madison participated with our church is the annual Lads to Leaders at Opryland Hotel and Convention Center. Madison participated in Photography, Bible Reading and Puppets! Grant participated in Photography, Bible Reading, Song Leading, Bible Bowl and Puppets. They both scored perfect on Bible Reading and Grant's Puppet team got first in their age division. They were both winners in everything by just participating! By just letting their light shine for God, that's a winner to me! We had a great time at Lads to Leaders and look forward to doing it again next year! I have a few pictures to show of our adventure.
Next, I will share some pictures from Grant's Belt testing. He tested for his 4th stripe Green Belt. He did receive his stripes this week! He is doing great in his Taekwondo.

Got Glasses?
Grant has been having headaches at school and so I decided he needed to get his eyes thoroughly checked out. I didn't know if he needed them or not. I wanted to find out the cause of all his headaches.... So we went to the eye doctor Springhill Eyecare and had him checked out. Come to find out he needs glasses. He sits in front of the class at school and looking up at the board or screen has been causing his headaches so now he will have glasses to use when looking at the screen and board. Hopefully his headaches are over! They added Grant's picture to their Pinterest Page. He looks very handsome in his glasses and very natural. Grant did a great job picking out his frames!

Dollywood Spring Break 2014
We just decided we wanted to go to Dollywood over Spring Break, so we left on Thursday morning and came home on Saturday evening. We went to Dollywood for the first time last year (me and the kids) Eric has been many many times before. We enjoyed it so much we decided to get a Season Pass. We got there on Thursday around 1:30 and they were packed. Grant wanted to ride the new roller coaster (Fire Chaser Express) so we waiting in line for over an hour to ride and it was a lot of fun and worth the wait. After that the other rides weren't too long. We rode all the coasters and then headed to the other side of the park to meet up with Eric and Madison. We stayed till it closed and then went back on Friday, but got there when it opened and left at 6:00 pm. It was not busy at all on Friday, I think the weather held everyone off, it tried to rain all day and did sprinkle just a bit. It worked in our favor because we rode all the Coasters multiple times! I know I will pay for it this week, I am not as young as I use to be! My body feels a little beat up today! I have lots of pictures to share!
This is just a collection of rides with a little music!

Adventure Science Center
Spring Break Part One...
At CA we get 2 weeks for Spring Break on the first week we just stayed close to home and had some much needed lazy days! I got through with Books 1-3 in the Divergent Series and did some much needed house cleaning.
Eric worked the first of the week and then we headed to the Adventure Science Center since we have a membership and let the kids have some fun there. They had a Workshop in the hands on room for you to create anything you wanted with wood, pipes etc. So Grant and Eric decided our Gerbil (Dale) needed a little shelter for his cage. They made it for Dale and then they had fun running around and exploring the Adventure Science Center.
I have some pictures to share from the Science Center.
We also headed over to the Nashville Zoo after the Science Center since we are members there too! I only took a few pictures... We had a good time and the weather was perfect!

Basketball Time!
This year Grant decided he wanted to play basketball with CA on their Saturday Rec. Team. This was his first year ever to play basketball. He loved playing basketball. He now comes home and after school he wants to play to unwind before starting on his homework. I play a little with him on Saturdays and then I pay for it for 2 or 3 days afterwards. They had a great season and enjoyed it and will probably play again next year! I have a few pictures to share of Grant playing basketball.
