Ear Piercing take two!

Madison has had her ears pierced since June 2, 2006 (8 months old).  Last year she would wear earrings on and off and then noticed one of her ears was really hard to get the earring in.  Well since then she hasn't worn earrings.  She wanted to start her 2nd grade year with her new earrings!  We only have 10 days left till school starts so I decided to go today and have her ears re-pierced.  I have pictures to share!

This is the first time I had her ears pierced!  Wasn't she cute!!

She was happy to have them re-pierced!

She wanted to get her birthstone (Sapphire) this time around!

We have also found out this time around that she is allergic
to cheap earrings, so she has to wear 14K Gold post earrings
or sterling silver post earrings!  Ching, Ching!!  :-)

So now she has 14K Gold post earrings with Sapphire stones!
The color matches her eyes!  I love them and she does too!

Beach Time!

Well we finally made a family trip to the beach!  We didn't get to go last year and after being so busy and crazy lately I wanted just to go and relax on the beach!  We headed out and stayed in Orange Beach at the Hilton on the Beach.  It was a great hotel with a great pool and great access to the beach!  We loved hanging out together at the beach and pool.  It was a great relaxing trip!   We went down to Pensacola one day of our trip and visited the FREE Naval Aviation Museum and then we went back the next morning to see the Blue Angels practice fly!  That was AWESOME!  I think I enjoyed watching the Blue Angels as much as the kids did!  I have plenty of pictures to share!

Grant and Madison playing at the beach!

Madison is ready to build her sandcastle!

Grant enjoying the pool at the hotel.

The pool was not very crowded this day!
Grant and Madison were swimming together!

Naval Aviation Museum we visited.  They had
Blue Angels planes you could sit in.

Madison was siting in the seat and I could barely see her face!

Grant loved looking at the Blue Angels Planes!

The propeller was HUGE!

They had a little play area for the kids inside the museum
and they had a plane that had two seats that they both sat in together!

Walking out of a plane that Richard Nixon was in.

This is when we went to watch the Blue Angels practice.

We always like to eat at Lamberts before we head back home!

Grant loved catching the rolls at Lamberts and eating them!

I ordered a chef salad!  It was so big!

4th of July Family Time!

We got together the week before the 4th of July with some family time and relaxation!  We visited with my sister-in-laws parents and her brother and children.  Grant and Madison had a great time visiting with family and hanging out!

We found out Rachel was expected their 2nd child!
We were all so happy and thrilled for her, Brent and Lilli!

Of course Danny and Carolyn were thrilled to
add another grandchild to the family!

Both set of Grandparents so happy holding the ultrasound!

Madison and Casey!  They had so much fun playing together!!

Grant trying to play with Lilli, but she
was too engaged with the iPad!

Grant and Cody, they enjoyed hanging out and playing pool!

 Madison and Casey acting crazy!!

I think everyone had a great time and I know Grant and Madison
didn't want to leave and go home because they were having a great time!

Adventure Science Center!

Adventure Science Center is another great place to go cool off in the summertime heat!  Grant and Madison went with Grandparents (Danny & Carolyn) while I was gone on a school conference.  They had a great time!  Here are some pictures from their outing!
